You’ve reached the personal website of Mark Hoult.

If you need to contact me and know where to find me – then I’d love to hear from you.

From time to time I thrash out a few words about some of the things that excite me.

Things like cricket, Sussex and Sussex cricket. Running. A bit of commercial property stuff. Domains and website development. Quizzes.

Where the world’s been, where it’s going.

There are a few things I don’t like too, but hey – let’s not waste our time on that.

As a 72 year old granddad in 2008 I walked around Great Britain starting and finishing at Bognor Regis My route was 4000 miles and it took 343 days to complete. There was a charity involved and I raised £30.000.
So I have a story to tell which I have written up and have a manuscript. I now seek a publisher.
Are you in a position to assist me in this quest. I have written a submission on my journey away which I can forward at any time.
    Any ideas?

      Hi Colin.

My advice is to write the book and promote it yourself to as many people as you can. If the book shows signs of gaining traction then you will be in a much stronger position to present it to potential publishing companies.

      But I’m no expert.

But more importantly, what an amazing achievement of yours to walk all all that way and raise such a huge amount of money. A truly epic performance. Many, many congratulations.
